About the Project

The First Ladies is an interface curating the most loved and influential First Ladies of the United States of America, using data from the Siena College Research Institute’s First Ladies Study. In our education we are taught of the many achievements of our presidents throughout history, but I wanted to shift the focus to the women of our country who have contributed to many social, political, and environmental achievements. 

The interface provides a timeline of the First Ladies by year they were in office and can expand into each individual biography. Under the rank tab you can see the top 25 first ladies according to the Siena College’s study.
